Library Databases appropriate for general Finance research.
Some availability to the following in the School of Business:
1) CRSP (Center for Research in Security Prices) from the University of Chicago, available within the Economics/Finance Department. This database comprises the most comprehensive collection of security price, return, and volume data for the NYSE, AMEX and Nasdaq stock markets.
2) Research Insight version of S&P's Compustat database, which provides 20 years of security price, return, and volume data for the NYSE, AMEX and Nasdaq stock markets. Compustat Excel Analytics application also available for individual companies in S&P's NetAdvantage.
