Researching SIUE History Online

History

For several years, SIUE Library & Information Services (LIS) has been digitizing historical print format university publications in order to facilitate student research for class projects. By making these unique historical primary source materials easily available to researchers online, LIS aspires to encourage faculty members from numerous disciplines to incorporate the study of university history and culture into the fabric of their course designs. In selecting these source materials for scanning, Dr. Stephen Kerber, University Archivist & Special Collections Librarian, has intentionally made the complete runs of various print format university publications (rather than just a few sample years) directly accessible to students on a 24/7 basis. Please click on the appropriate links in the following pages to investigate a digital collection or digital exhibit.
