POL 429 Environmental Policy: For Faculty

The information you need to do research for POL 429

Scholarly Impact

Your Research Impact LibGuide, created by Jamie Conklin and Therese Dickman, guides you through ways to assess and broaden the scholarly impact of your publications. This can be useful when preparing for promotion and tenure, applying for grants, and when seeking professional awards and honors.

Teaching Resources

As the subject librarian for the departments of Applied Communication Studies and Mass Communications, I can:

  • Work with you to develop assignments that require scholarly or non-scholarly sources and determine which resources best fit the objectives of the assignment
  • Create a course page with discipline-specific resources tailored to your class assignments (see the Class Guides tab above for an example)
  • Embed resources into your course site
  • Visit your class or conduct a research instruction session in one of the library's classrooms to help students find and use information sources
  • Help you identify open educational resources or order materials to support your courses.
