OpenAthens is an access authentication system that Lovejoy library is using to update how students, faculty and staff access the libraries electronic resources. OpenAthens is more secure and should resolve the problems that some users have experienced accessing resources off campus.

Secure single sign on to access all of the libraries databases. 

OpenAthens will streamline researching for LIS patrons and users needing off campus access. It allows them access to our subscription databases and resources through the an open web search instead of through traditional methods of using resources through the library website to receive off campus access.
