Current students, faculty, or staff members can use our library links to library materials and databases so that you can be authenticated.

When following these links you first will be prompted to choose your login method.

For affiliated users you will login using your e-ID and password on the familiar SIUE login screen.

If you are already signed into another campus service, such as Blackboard or Outlook, then you will typically not have to authenticate again.

To Use OpenAthens:

Navigate to the library resource you wish to access, you will be prompted to login by the following series of screens:

Selection SIUE Connector option

Sign in with your eID and password for campus

You may need to verify your identify with two-factor authentication for campus:

Check "Don't show this again" and select "No" if you would not like to be reminded to Stay signed in?

You will be redirected in to the Library resource you were wishing to starting researching in at this point.
