Transfer Students: Interlibrary Loan

This guide provide an overview of library information and resources to support the success of transfer students.

What You Need

Plan accordingly, Interlibrary Loan takes time!

To request items in the SIUE Catalog 

  • Type your e-ID username and password.  An e-ID is the part of your university e-mail address that precedes @siue.edu.  For example, in the e-mail address: abc123@siue.edu, the e-ID would be abc123.

 

Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan, is often referred to as "ILL." Interlibrary Loan is a service which enables current SIUE faculty, staff, and students to borrow item(s) from a lending library.  You may submit your ILL request through the I-Share catalog.

ILLiad, is our web-based service which provides the interlibrary loan option in many of the databases.

Before placing an interlibrary request through ILLiad, you must first be a registered user.  Click here to complete the registration process.You will only need to register once for an account.  After completing the registration process you will be prompted to make a request.
