Invitation to Share Your Stories about Ruth Slenczynska

Former Students of Ruth Slenczynska:

I invite you to continue to share your favorite stories and memories about Ruth Slenczynska as a teacher, pianist, and mentor. Please send by the end of December 2024, if possible. An accompanying photo or two (when a student and/or more recently) that shows you with Ruth, along with the year, location, occasion, and photographer noted, if known, are also welcome! During Ms. Slenczynska's 100th year, these will provide a personalized tribute to her life and career and help document her years while at SIUE. (These will complement the accounts gathered for the pianist by Dr. Shelly Moorman-Stahlman a few years ago.) So please take the opportunity to recount your favorite memories (or additional ones) by clicking on "Email Me" in the box on the right. Indicate approximate years if possible. Let others know about this distinguished, unique teacher of yours! Thank you all!
